PH 209: Frequently Asked Questions (Fall 2007)

Last modified on 6 September 2007 by M. J. Graf

I strongly urge students to discuss questions with me during my office hours. However, if you prefer to submit your questions to me via e-mail just click here. I'll try to answer as many questions as possible at this Web site -- questions from my meetings with students and those submitted to me through e-mail -- and I will update this page at least once a week. In any event you may want to get into the habit of checking out this page to see if any of the answers given here may be helpful to you. Questions should be directly related to material covered in the lectures, examples, homework, etc.

 GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q: Who can submit questions to this page?

This page is intended primarily for students in my PH209 Introductory Physics I class. However, a good question from any source is welcome.

Q: Will the answers be posted here, or be sent to us directly at our e-mail addresses?

They will be posted on this page. My intent is to answer the questions here, so that if someone else in the class has the same question, they can find the answer. If you have something that requires personal attention, I'll answer you directly via e-mail.

Q: Can we ask about the homework problems?

Yes, but I may not answer! I'll be happy to clarify what the problem is asking, or to answer questions about the physics involved, but I won't solve the problem for you.
