1. Welcome back! Please start reviewing all of Chapter 1. We will spend a little time,
but not much, doing some sample problems, then quickly moving on to Chapter2.
2. The due date for Homework 1 has been
changed to Wed., January 23.
3. Take-home Exam #1 will be given out on Wednesday, Feb. 20th, and is due at the beginning of class on Friday, Feb.
22nd. You are not allowed to consult any references apart from the text,
a mathematical reference for integrals, etc., and Prof. Graf.
