Dr. Rongying Jin
Research on cobalt-based oxides has uncovered many novel physical properties. In addition to superconductivity observed in hydrated NaxCoO2, a variety of magnetic behavior and the large thermoelectric power coexisting with high electrical conduction are equally fascinating. In my talk, I will give a couple of examples including NaxCoO2·yH2O, (Ba,Sr)2CoO4 and Ca3Co4O9.
