Raman Sundrum
I will review some central problems of modern particle physics research and how Supersymmetry, a powerful and beautiful symmetry between bosons and fermions, may hold the key to solving these problems. I will then discuss how some adverse side-effects of invoking supersymmetry can in turn be addressed by extra dimensions of spacetime. I will briefly discuss how these exciting ideas will be tested in upcoming particle collider experiments.
