Wavefunction Interference

Electronic Disorder

I will describe the development of low temperature ‘Wavefunction Imaging’ STM techniques that allow us to Visualize Complex Electronic Matter, directly at the atomic scale. As an example, we will visually explore the uniquely beautiful and complex Nanoscale Electronic Structure of the high-Tc Superconducting State. Time permitting: I will discuss future avenues for application and development of these techniques.
