Near-Perfect 'Black'
New metamaterial can absorb pretty much every light particle it encounters

Assistant Professor Willie J. Padilla, researcher Nathan Landy and colleagues from Duke University have designed and tested a metamaterial capable of absorbing all of the light that strikes it, they report in the current edition of Physical Review Letters (Phys.
