Professor George Goldsmith celebrates 85th birthday…


…with colleagues, students, and staff.  Professor George Goldsmith was feted by the Department on Friday, March 28th, one day before his 85th birthday.  Champagne flowed and cake was cut while several faculty toasted George and all raised their glasses in honor of the celebrant.  Rein Uritam, colleague and longtime friend of Professor Goldsmith, reminisced about the forty years (!!!) they’ve spent here together at BC. 

 

We in the Department of Physics toast you, George, and hope to celebrate your birthday for many more years!
